If the beach isn’t working, one of the longest left point breaks in Indonesia is 15 minutes South, as well as a host of other spots up and down the coast.

Getting barreled looks easy, doesn’t it? So why is it something that many surfers never tick off their bucket list? Our goal with these trips is to fix that.

We have carefully selected the location and time of year to offer the best chance of user-friendly surf, with minimal crowds.

With sand bottomed a-frames along its length, Mandiri beach is the ultimate environment for working on your tube-riding skills without the worry of reef below. If the beach isn’t working or we fancy a change, there’s plenty of opportunity to work on your rail game at one of the many incredible waves up and down the coast. With world-class surf coaching and video analysis each day, there is no better environment to take your surfing to the next level.

The incredible Mandiri Beach Club will be our home for 10 nights. With newly appointed air-conditioned rooms, a swimming pool looking out over the surf, sauna& & cold plunge, and 3x incredible meals each day, we couldn’t imagine a better base camp for our Sumatran coaching trips. Renegade will take care of every detail so that all you have to think about is surfing.

YOUR HOME AWAY FROM HOME…

The Mandiri Beach Club. Directly in front of Indonesia’s best beach break and with access to a host of quality reef and point breaks up and down the coast, this is the ultimate base for our Indo surf coaching experience.

The beautiful resort has 5 double occupancy bungalows, as well as one 4-person pool house – each with air conditioning and en-suite bathroom. There’s also an infinity pool, skate ramp and newly built sauna & ice bath.

The resort can accommodate 14 guests, but we’re limiting these trips to 9 surfers for the very best coaching experience.

Aside from the resort itself, the waves are a huge pull factor…

Sand-bottomed barrels are not all that common in Indonesia – and if Mandiri is firing, all you have to do is walk 20 paces from your room and paddle out! For those of you looking to make your first barrel, or just get more comfortable pulling in, this is one of the best places to do so.

If Mandiri isn’t working, there are a handful of quality waves a short drive away. 3 mini-vans are on standby each day, allowing us to score the best conditions at all times. Whilst tube time is the ultimate goal for these trips, there will also be plenty of opportunity to work on your rail game.
