Our Malé & Central Atolls coaching trips make up the back-bone of our Maldives season and have been refined over nearly a decade of running trips in this region.

As always, our trips are focused around hunting for empty lineups in remote, tropical paradise – the ultimate environment for progressing your surfing. With daily surf coaching and video analysis, we will address your limiting factors and correct your technique – all whilst you score some of the most consistent and user-friendly waves on earth.

On board it gets even better, as we return to Theia for the 2027 season. This beautiful boat boasts a huge layout across 4 floors, with large air-conditioned cabins, 2 support vessels and some of the best food you’ll find on a surf charter anywhere in the world.

For 2027, Theia has been upgraded with a brand new dinghy, chain anchor and winch, new air conditioning system, and fresh mattresses. Small details that make a big difference.

Once you touch down in the Maldives, Renegade will take care of every detail so that all you have to think about is surfing.

YOUR FLOATING HOME…

Welcome to Theia. This beautiful 32 meter boat boasts 8 comfortable guest cabins with AC, a large lounge and incredible sundeck. There are 5 cabins on the lower deck, and 3 premium ocean view cabins on the upper deck. Each cabin has a double and single bed, so there is plenty of space and flexibility for couples or friends.

Theia can comfortably accommodate 20 guests. However, for maximum comfort and the highest standard of coaching, these trips are capped at 10 surfers and 2 non-surfing guests.

Despite the space and comfort, there are a couple of reasons why we are particularly stoked to have Theia as our floating home again in 2027…

First, it is accompanied by two support vessels. A brand new dinghy, and a larger ‘dhoni’. The dhoni serves as our base for surf sessions – anchored next to the lineup and loaded with drinks, snacks, sunscreen, cameras etc – with the dinghy as our shuttle. Alternatively, we can safely split the group over two different spots if required.

Second, is the incredible crew and chefs. This is an often-overlooked aspect when booking a surf trip, but it can be the difference between a good trip and an incredible one. These guys are some of the best we have had the pleasure of working with, and you won’t be going hungry!
