YOUR FLOATING HOME…

Welcome to Theia. One of the best surf charter boats in the Maldives and our brand new home for the 2024 surf season.

This stunning 32 metre, purpose built charter boat boasts 8 air-conditioned guest cabins with en-suite bathrooms. 4 ‘standard’ cabins on the lower deck and 4 ‘suites’ on the upper deck. Each has a double bed and a single bed so there really is plenty of space – something not all that common on your typical surf charter!

Theia is able to comfortably accommodate 20 guests, however, for maximum comfort and the highest standard of coaching, these trips are capped at a maximum of 10 surfers and 2 non-surfing guests. Nobody likes an insta-crowd.

Despite it’s obvious space and comfort, there are a couple of reasons why we are particularly stoked to have Theia as our new floating home…

Firstly, it is accompanied by TWO support vessels. A dinghy, and a larger ‘dhoni’. This is a real luxury and allows us to safely split the group up over 2 spots if required, or use the dhoni as our ‘base’ for the day -anchored right next to the lineup and loaded with drinks, snacks, sunscreen, cameras etc.

Secondly, only a very small selection of boats in the Maldives are allowed to cruise at night, and Theia is one of them! For a Central Atolls trip, this is an absolute game changer as the distances between Atolls can be quite long. There really is nothing better than waking up at a brand new spot in the middle of tropical paradise! (Please be aware that night cruising is very condition dependent and not guaranteed)
